Radiant Sloth News – March 2026

Hello everyone!

It has been a little while since my last post, so I’m glad to make today a recap and share some news about my ongoing projects! Let’s get started!

My Tiny Landscape is released!

My nature puzzle builder My Tiny Landscape was released at the end of last January. I would like to thank everyone who purchased the game, spent time playing and sharing feedback on the Steam forums, I appreciate your support! Thanks also to the content creators who made videos and helped spread the word to their community! My Tiny Landscape only has a few reviews but they are very positive and it means a lot to me!

Unfortunately, the overall sales number are pretty disappointing. The game did not have a great wishlists count, but I was expecting the release to go a bit better. The game currently sits at 70 copies sold, which means the net revenue I got just covers the fee to distribute it on Steam. In comparison, my most successful game to this day, Destroy The Monoliths, is at 815 copies sold (far from enough to be a full time indie developer, but this was still a decent net revenue, well above the median game on Steam).

Obviously, that makes me a little sad that My Tiny Landscape did not appeal to a larger audience. And this also means I cannot afford to make post-launch updates to add more content. In any case, I am proud about the final product, I really believe this is a good cozy minimalist game and I’m glad people had a lot of fun with it! I enjoyed working on this game, and that’s what matters now that I get to move on to other projects.

A New Cozy Game!

With My Tiny Landscape, I found it very interesting to work on a game with nonviolent gameplay. So much that I am doing it again! I am currently working on a new project, and I am happy to announce Shipolis, a cozy minimalist city builder and resource management game.

“You are a town planner longing for adventures! With your valiant ship, you have been sent to unknown archipelagos with the task of growing cities and building great wonders! You will have to explore the seas, map various sectors, gather resources and set up production lines. Good planning and wise management will be key to achieve your goals!”

I have been prototyping ideas for a few months already, and I now have a playable build that I really like. The game does not have a Steam page yet, but there is an alpha build you can play on itch.io. Please give it a try and share your feedback, I am interested in gauging player interest for this game! I am going for a cozy vibe with minimalist design but still some interesting strategy. Besides, the art direction is honestly the best I have ever made. Leveraging my experience from Destroy The Monoliths, Comet Force and My Tiny Landscape, I believe I brought my 3D pixel art to another level for this project! I hope you will enjoy it too!

What About Battle Stones?

Last year, I released a demo for a strategy deckbuilding roguelike, called Battle Stones. The demo did not get a lot of attention (I did not promote it a lot either) and I am unsure about this game. I enjoyed making it at the time, but to be honest I do not have a lot of motivation going further with it right now. Maybe I am a bit fed up with roguelikes at the moment, or maybe I don’t enjoy combat gameplay so much anymore. I am not sure I want to focus my time and energy on it, even more if it appeals to only a few people, so it is currently on hold. Still, I like to finish things, so I am thinking about ways I could finish it at a reduced scale. I could take a few weeks to add a bit more content, and then release it for very cheap, at like 1$ or 2$. I am still not fully decided yet, so I will keep you up to date when I make plans!

That’s it for this news post! Any thoughts or questions? Feel free to comment, I would be glad to reply! Thanks again for your support, and I’ll see you next time (to announce a Steam page for Shipolis, hopefully!)
